WE COLLECT INFORMATION
When you access our website, our web server saves data of your activities on the site. The Lamda CRM Android application is a business application used exclusively by employees and authorized partners of Lamda Infotech for internal customer-relationship management, field-visit tracking and sales operations. The app requires the user to sign in with a company-issued account; it is not intended for the general public. The following disclosures describe the personal and sensitive data the app accesses, collects and shares.INFORMATION THE LAMDA CRM APP COLLECTS
- Location data (precise and approximate, including background location): With the signed-in employee's permission, the app collects the device's location — including while the app is running in the background — to record field-visit attendance and check-ins, show live employee availability and location to authorized managers, and geo-tag school and client site locations. A persistent notification is displayed on the device whenever background location tracking is active. Location data is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our servers, where it is associated with the employee's account.
- Call information: With permission, the app accesses phone state and call logs, and collects recordings of business calls made by employees from their company-registered numbers, for sales follow-up, dispute resolution and quality review.
- Photos, camera and audio: Images captured with the camera or selected from the device by the employee are collected as attachments (for example, delivery proof, documents and site photographs). The microphone is used only for recording business calls and voice input initiated by the employee.
- Device information: A device identifier, device model, battery level and online/offline status are collected for device management, security and support.
- Account and usage information: The employee's name, work email address, phone number, role and in-app activity are processed to provide CRM functionality and for audit purposes.
HOW LAMDA CRM APP DATA IS USED AND SHARED
Data collected through the Lamda CRM app is used solely for the internal business operations of Lamda Infotech described above. We do not sell, rent, trade or lease this data to any third party, and we do not use it for advertising. App data is shared only with the service providers that host and operate our infrastructure — Amazon Web Services (application servers, database and file storage, Asia Pacific – Mumbai region) and Google Firebase (push notifications) — under their respective data-processing terms, and where required by law.DATA RETENTION, DELETION AND YOUR CHOICES
Data collected through the Lamda CRM app is retained while the associated employee account remains active, and for a limited period thereafter for legal, audit and fraud-prevention purposes. Location, call and microphone permissions can be revoked at any time from the device's system settings; core CRM features that depend on those permissions may stop working, but the rest of the app remains usable. Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data, or deletion of their account and associated data, by emailing info@lamdainfotech.com or lamdainfotech@gmail.com. We will act on verified requests within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.SECURITY
All data transmitted between our website, our mobile applications and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is stored on access-controlled servers, and access is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
