Admissions that finish without a queue at the counter

Admission App takes the form, the documents, the eligibility criteria and the merit list online. Applicants apply from home; your office verifies, ranks and exports.

Admission App

Admission App is our online admission system for schools and colleges. You register with your DISE code, add your school details, admission dates, subject combinations and marks criteria, and you can be accepting forms within about half an hour. Applicants fill in their personal, communication and academic details, upload their photograph, admit card and marksheets, and submit — without coming to the school three times to do it. You verify on screen, generate the merit list against your own criteria, tell the selected students by SMS, and export the lot to Excel.

One process, seen from both ends

The applicant fills a form; the office gets a queue it can actually work through. Here is what each side gets.

The applicant

  • Applies from home, on a phone or a computer — no trip to the counter to collect a form.
  • Personal, communication and academic details in one guided form, in plain language.
  • Photograph, admit card and marksheets uploaded as images instead of photocopied and carried.
  • The form can be viewed, edited and printed as many times as needed before it is submitted.
  • The result and the next steps arrive by SMS rather than on a notice board.

The office

  • Registration with your DISE code, email and mobile — nothing to install anywhere.
  • Your admission dates, subject combinations, eligibility and marks criteria, set once.
  • Every form, photograph and document opens on screen, so verification is not a pile of paper.
  • Merit lists generated against those criteria instead of sorted by hand.
  • SMS to the selected students, and an Excel export with images and documents when it is over.
What you get

Everything in Admission App

Built for a basic computer user

The panel and the form are written for whoever is actually at the desk, not for someone who has been trained on it. There is no training day to schedule.

Works on the screen they have

The form is responsive — a parent filling it on a phone at night gets the same thing as somebody at a desktop.

Your process, not a generic one

Admission dates, subject combinations, eligibility rules and marks criteria are yours to set, and the application follows them.

Documents uploaded, not carried

Photograph, admit card and marksheets go up with the form and open next to it when you verify, so nothing arrives loose in an envelope.

Merit list from your criteria

The list is generated against the criteria you set, so ranking is not a spreadsheet somebody maintains by hand at midnight.

SMS to the applicants

Tell the selected students what happens next straight from the panel, instead of waiting for them to check a notice board.

Everything exports to Excel

When admissions are over the whole set comes out as an Excel sheet, images and documents included, ready for your records or your ERP.

On AWS, and kept for 180 days

The application runs on Amazon Web Services over SSL, with payments handled by a regulated gateway. Your admission data stays available for 180 days after the process closes.

Already on School On Web?

Then you do not register separately — admission settings live inside the application you already use, and students apply through the Apply Now button. See School On Web.

How it works

Four steps each way

For the applicant

1

Apply now

Pick the institution from the list and read its instructions and eligibility before starting.

2

Fill the form

Personal, communication and academic details, in one pass and in one place.

3

Upload the documents

Photograph, admit card and marksheets, straight from the phone that took the picture.

4

Submit, and print

The form can be reopened, edited and printed as often as needed, then submitted to the office as the instructions say.

For the office

1

Register the institution

DISE code, email and mobile number, then school details and logo. About half an hour, once.

2

Set the rules

Admission dates, subject combinations, eligibility and marks criteria — the ones your institution actually uses.

3

Verify what comes in

Every application, photograph and document opens on screen as it arrives.

4

Rank, inform, export

Generate the merit list, SMS the selected students, finalise the class details and export everything to Excel.

FAQ

Questions institutions ask first

Because admission season is the one time of year a school asks the same family to come back three times — once for the form, once to hand it in, once to find out. Online, the form is filled at home, the documents come with it, and the office works through a queue on screen instead of a counter full of people.
You can be accepting applications within about 30 minutes of registering. What takes the time is your own decisions — school details and logo, admission dates, subject combinations and the marks criteria you will rank against.
There is no upfront registration charge for a school, and the admin panel costs nothing to open. A nominal per-student charge covers the SMS, the server and the support. There is no premium version to buy — every registered institution gets every feature.
The admin can view every application with its photographs and documents, generate merit lists, and export the whole set as an Excel sheet. Your admission data stays on our AWS servers for 180 days after the process closes, and moves straight into School On Web if you run it.
The institution owns its data; we process it on your instruction and nothing else. The application runs on AWS over SSL, payments go through a regulated gateway rather than to us, and access is limited to the users your administrator authorises — the same posture we run the ERP on, which is set out on the security page.
