AI face scan
Nothing to carry and nothing to touch. Faces are mapped from the photographs you already supplied for ID cards, so there is no enrolment queue on day one, and a match takes about a third of a second.
Digital Attendance marks a student at the gate by face or QR ID card, pushes the notification to the parent’s phone with the time, and writes the register for you. It runs on ordinary Android phones.
Digital Attendance is our gate-side attendance system, running at more than 150 institutions. A student stands in front of a phone or shows an ID card; the face engine — built on the Google Face SDK and tuned for a crowded school gate rather than an office lobby — matches in roughly 200 to 300 milliseconds. The register updates, the parent gets a notification before the child reaches class, and the day’s defaulter list writes itself.
All three write to the same register and send the same notification. Most schools use two — face for students, something else for staff.
Nothing to carry and nothing to touch. Faces are mapped from the photographs you already supplied for ID cards, so there is no enrolment queue on day one, and a match takes about a third of a second.
A unique QR code on every student and staff card, generated in bulk and printed with the cards. Cards already printed can take a QR sticker instead, and a lost card is replaced the same day at card cost.
eSSL and Hikvision terminals you already own feed the same register — a common arrangement is face at the gate for students and fingerprint at the office for staff. More on attendance automation.
A push notification reaches the parent through School eDiary the moment the scan happens, with the time. SMS can be added where a parent is not on the app.
The premium option captures a real photograph at the moment of the scan. It goes to the parent with the notification and stays in the school’s record.
Set the cut-off time class by class. Anyone not scanned by then is marked absent and lands on the day’s defaulter list without anyone having to compile it.
Device-wise, student-wise, class-wise and date-wise, to PDF or Excel. Class registers build themselves, and parents get a monthly attendance percentage.
Teaching and non-teaching staff have their own register and reports — and staff attendance cannot be marked from a phone facing students.
The administrator decides which classes each device may mark, so a phone at one gate cannot touch another gate’s register.
Scans continue and queue on the device when the connection goes, then sync as soon as it returns. The queue at the gate never waits for the internet.
Built to run on a nominal amount of mobile data, and images are removed from the device once they have synced.
A student scanning on their birthday gets a greeting, and so does the parent. A small thing — and the one parents mention.
Student and staff numbers, and how many gates or doors you want to scan at. That is enough for a quote.
Your cloud account is ready within 24 hours of the details reaching us.
Your student and staff export — Excel or UDISE+ — one photograph per person, and parent mobile numbers. We map the faces and generate the QR codes in bulk.
Install the app, fix the phone at the gate, and the first scan notifies the first parent. Most schools are running the same week.
Attendance is only useful if it reaches somebody. Two applications come with the package — one for the parent, one for the office.
Where the parent sees it — notice board, attendance, academic calendar, profile and push notifications, on their phone.
What’s insideWhere the office runs it — student and staff records, attendance management, master settings and user management, in the browser.
What’s insideSend us your numbers and we will show you Digital Attendance working — a face scan, the notification landing on a phone, and the register behind it.
