School On Web Google Chrome Plugin

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the School On Web Google Chrome Plugin ("Plugin") developed and operated by Lamda Infotech Pvt Ltd ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By installing and using the Plugin, you ("User," "School," or "Subscriber") acknowledge and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Plugin.

1. Purpose of the Plugin

The Plugin facilitates the transfer of student data from the Banglar Shiksha Portal to the School On Web platform for:

Creation of ID cards
Updating data for digital attendance management

2. Data Collection and Usage

When using the Plugin, the following student data is copied:

Student Name
Banglar Shiksha ID
Class
Section
Roll Number
Father's Name
Mother's Name
Guardian’s Name
Contact Number
Address
Gender
Caste
Religion

Data Usage Policy:

We do not use the copied data for any personal purpose.
We do not share the copied data with any third-party company.
We do not use the copied data for marketing or promotional activities.
The copied data remains within the School On Web platform for authorized school administration purposes.

3. Authorization & Responsibility of Schools

By using the Plugin, the school expressly authorizes Lamda Infotech Pvt Ltd to copy and use this data for internal school management.
Schools must not share their Banglar Shiksha Portal login credentials with any staff member of Lamda Infotech Pvt Ltd.
We are not liable if a school shares its Banglar Shiksha Portal login credentials.

4. Access & Activation

The Plugin accesses student data only when the user explicitly clicks "Copy Data".
Schools must accept these Terms before activating the Plugin.
If a school does not agree, they must not activate the Plugin.

5. Data Security & Privacy

The Plugin does not store data outside the School On Web platform. Schools must safeguard their login credentials.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for misuse of data by the school.
We are not liable for unauthorized access due to the school’s negligence.
The Plugin is provided "as-is" without guarantees.

7. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

8. Termination of Use

We may disable the Plugin for violations.
Schools may discontinue use by uninstalling it.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian laws. Disputes shall be resolved in Kolkata, West Bengal.
